Pediatric Movement Disorders
The Movement Disorders team at Monroe Carell focuses on helping children with muscle tightness and motor differences, and condition such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). If not treated early, these problems can cause permanent damage. Our team includes specialists in medicine, surgery and rehabilitation. Our treatment plans help your child with muscular and movement differences in the way that is best for them. Placing your child and family at the heart of our program is important to us. Our family-centered approach to care ensures good communication and the best possible improvements in motor and muscle function.
