Pediatric Hip Preservation

The Hip Preservation team at Monroe Carell includes doctors who treat many complicated hip problems in children. Our goal is to help your child manage pain and fix conditions such as hip dysplasia to reduce the need for ongoing care. We strive to help your child athlete return to activity and play.

We offer combination surgeries including two operations for the same patient at once, so your child does not have to return later for a second surgery.

Our team includes one of the few surgeons in the nation who performs hip replacements for children, as well as experts in pain management, infection control, and pediatric and adolescent orthopaedics.
