Thank you for your interest in joining our team of volunteers. Please carefully read our Monroe Carell Volunteering FAQ as well as the guidelines of the program for which you are applying (linked below) to ensure that volunteering at Monroe Carell is right for you at this time.
The application will be posted during the time frames listed below for each program. The application may be closed early pending the volume of applications received, so apply as soon as possible within the application window.
Adult Program & College (Undergraduate) Program

Eligibility
New volunteers must be able to commit to our initial minimum commitment.
For adults (at least age 18 and not enrolled in undergraduate college courses), we ask for a minimum commitment of 50 volunteer hours, which is about six months of weekly volunteering.
For undergraduate college students, we ask for a minimum commitment of two consecutive semesters/periods, including summer. If you are not able to volunteer over the summer, we ask that you wait to apply in the Fall.
Short-Term Summer College (Undergraduate) Program
Next online application: February 19 to March 4, 2024
Interviews: We will conduct virtual interviews during the month of April
Eligibility
This program is for undergraduate college students whose permanent address is local, but who attend college outside Middle Tennessee.
This program requires an initial minimum commitment of 25 volunteer hours during the summer (May through August). Volunteers in this program will be scheduled for at least one shift per week at the same day and time.
