Remote NICU patient monitoring
When possible, the Neonatology team at Monroe Carell will enroll your child in our remote patient monitoring program. We will discuss this with you and enroll your child before you leave the hospital. After discharge, our providers will monitor your child’s progress at home with our remote monitoring technology and telehealth appointments.
How We Manage Telehealth Appointments
Our team of doctors and advanced practice providers will see your child virtually through our telehealth platform partner, Locus. At the time of discharge, our team will provide you with an iPad and Bluetooth-enabled scale. This iPad will be preloaded with the Locus and My Health at Vanderbilt applications. You may also download these applications from the app store to your personal device.
You will use Locus to upload daily health information about your baby. Telehealth appointments will take place through My Health at Vanderbilt.
