The General Hematology Program at Monroe Carell offers compassionate, comprehensive, family-centered care for children and young adults with blood disorders. We provide education and counseling, and we connect you with advocacy programs here in Nashville and across the nation. We will also let you know if your child may be eligible to participate in a Vanderbilt clinical trial or research.

Monroe Carell’s hematology clinic offers dedicated laboratory services. We quickly and accurately make the correct diagnosis of such blood-related disorders as sickle cell disease, thrombosis and anemia to bring treatment sooner to your child. We can also provide blood transfusion and intravenous medicine infusion in our clinic. This maximizes convenience and safety.
