Drug Allergies
The Pediatric Drug Allergy program at Monroe Carell evaluates children and adolescents for allergies to medications and vaccinations. We see low- and high-risk drug allergy reaction patients. Our team will do a full medical history and test your child for the suspected allergy. Whether it's skin testing or a monitored drug challenge, our pediatric allergy specialists can safely learn if a medication is safe to take again. Once we complete testing, we develop a customized care plan for your child's symptoms and allergy. This may either include de-labeling a medication returning for more testing or giving you a desensitization plan.
