Seacrest Studios

Become a Star On-Air at Monroe Carell

Discover the magic of Seacrest Studios, right in the heart of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, a place where patients are the stars.

This 723-square-foot multimedia broadcasting center is the result of a powerful partnership between Monroe Carell and the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. Patients can express their creativity, laugh, learn and share in the fun via the studio’s closed-circuit radio/TV system. Seacrest Studios is on Channel 46 on hospital televisions, and patients can even visit the studio in-person on the  second floor of Monroe Carell.

Engaging, therapeutic and entertaining programming is available to children and teens through important relationships with inter-disciplinary teams like Child Life, Music Therapy, Physical Therapy, the Hospital School Program, Spiritual Care, Nutrition Services, Nursing, Volunteer Services and more.

Partnerships throughout Middle Tennessee that include sports and entertainment industries provide patients with an important escape while receiving treatment and therapies at Monroe Carell.

In addition to singing along with music on studio microphones, patients can engage in special events like

  • Live music performances
  • Game shows
  • Storytimes
  • Craft shows
  • Celebrity appearances
  • Professional sports team visits
  • Hosting shows and interviewing special guests
  • Lip sync battles
  • Special events
