Dr. Weikert is the BEST in his field.Very thorough, took the time to explain the procedure, eased my mind after answering all my questions regarding the NEW TOTAL JOINT PROCEDURE TO THE THUMB. Many providers at Vanderbilt could learn a few tips on how to explain things relating to the patient's visit. He makes sure you understand, even if you have multiple questions. I trust this physician with my life in making the best decision for myself.

Probably one of the best doctors I've worked with. I see a lot of doctors. Even though a surgeon his concern I got the medical treatment I needed instead of pushing for surgery.

Dr. Weikert explained my options for treatment. I opted to try steroid injection first and if no good results, then surgery. He told me the injection would be very painful and I appreciated that he didn't lie!
