Kristopher L. Hasstedt DDS

Came to Vanderbilt through the ER. The entire time Dr Hasstedt and staff have been wonderful. They scheduled my appointments so I could accomplish everything (visit to infectious diseases clinic and CTs) in one visit As we have to travel from Bowling Green. Every one in office is pleasant and helpful. I can't say enough about Dr. Hasstedt's kindness and the concern he showed me. I appreciate very much his compassion. He is an excellent doctor and thanks to him and his staff I am feeling so much better after dealing with this problem since June of this year.

I was seen by a Resident and Dr. H today and I have never been so gaslighted in my entire life until now. They didn't even consider the amount of turmoil I had endured with the amount of stress this condition has caused me. They first told me that I need to be take NSAIDS medication to help with pain without even understanding that I have high liver enzymes. Then I mentioned how much therapy I had done on my jaw in the 33 years of having condition and they still suggested more therapy. I was told that a MRI would help show more images of the jaw issue but then they said but, you don't need a MRI. I was crying and they were so cold to my requests. I work in healthcare and this was no way to be treated like a patient. I was told that I clench my jaw and that I need to just not do it.. What does that even mean?? When they asked me who referred me I said my a dentist did- they laughed this snarky laugh as ifMy dentist is uneducated with this. Well HE REFERRED ME SO OF COURSE HE ISNT. Also- I had a x-Ray done before going into the room and I didn't even get to see it the scan nor did they pull it up in the office to explain why I wouldn't need further assistance. I'm so disappointed and won't be referring anyone to this office due to the lack of concern or care. They examined my jaw and clearly saw the issue and heard the popping but told me to not open my mouth so wide and I won't struggle. I am very upset over this. I very sad that I had drove 2 hours each way to only be treated such disrespect. It was unnecessary and uncalled for.

Dr Hasstedt and team were excellent. I cannot say enough good things about them all. Including office staff I would recommend this group to everyone.

I wish my husband could have stayed. He is comfortable in medical settings. However, the doctor was very compassionate and took good care of me, as part of handling the procedure.

Kind and staff, thorough exam by Dr Tavasoli and follow-up discussion, and thorough final exam by Dr Hassted and in-depth explanation and medical advice

I had a good experience with everyone and felt cared for.

I cannot say enough good things about this office!
