Dr. Donohue sat down and clearly explained benefits and drawbacks of treating double vision in elderly, thin women. He smiled and listened carefully to me.

We have been seeing Dr. Donahue for nearly two years. In our experience Dr. Donahue has been very condescending and rude. He recommended that we continue our child's care unchanged (no modifications to treatment plan) at our last visit, and this most recent visit he claimed that we should have switched the treatment plan according to his notes. My wife and I attend every appointment together, we are very attentive and ask lots of questions in order to ensure we are doing exactly as he suggests. We take notes at the appointments and his after visit summary notes In the My Health at Vanderbilt never have anything in them. We have had multiple experiences now where he's told us one thing, we wait a month or two to return to see him, and then he informs us that we were not supposed to do what he suggested. As we left this most recent visit, he told us he wanted to see us on the 22nd of August, when we get to scheduling, scheduling informed us that he wrote in his notes he wanted to see us on the 23rd.which is a Saturday and scheduling informed us the offices are closed. When we ask questions in the appointment he frequently cuts off our questions and makes comments that in the future we need to book the last appointment of the day so he has enough time to answer our questions. As concerned parents who want to do everything possible to help our son, his impatient personality, lack of concern and unwillingness to thoroughly answer questions without seeming is very off putting. We are highly upset as we feel like we're running out of time to help our son's vision be the best it can potentially be.
