Dr Chang answered all of our questions and cleared up all of doubts. We thought surgery was the only path forward however Dr Chang's explanation of why surgery is not the best resolution to my kidney problem at this time was such a relief to my wife and I and an answer to our prayers.

I don't think the Care Provider is to blame but the appointment started badly. When he arrived, he was straight to the point, gave me a couple of cautionary concerns and scheduled my surgery. It was as though the discussion with the Intern had not happened. I didn't feel like the appointment was structured in a way that I was able to learn about who the doctor was and what my treatment would be. I was a little disappointed and confused. I asked my wife what had just happened? Maybe it would have been better if I had a phone consultation prior to meeting the doctor. I don't feel like I know him at all and my life will be in his hands. I was diagnosed on May 29, 2024 and the process has been very challenging for me. I made a decision on what I needed to do but it has dragged on into the new year.
