Excellent everything

I always receive professional courteous service from Dr Boraocas and his PA Amanda

It grieves me to give low scores to this Dr, So much so that I am choosing a different surgeon. These are based on several factors, un-pleasant voice tones and facial expressions that were witnessed by my husband and myself. The doctor was very late and the wait time was long. I became nervous and concerned before seeing this Dr about my medical record being compromised when the Dr's Intern said that my chart showed that I had had breast and lung cancer, neither of which I have had. Instead of the Dr offering compassion for my concerns about my chart, he became very agitated at me and sternly stated, Let's forget about that and just move on to the reason you are here which set the tone for the rest of that visiit for me. This Dr made me feel hurt and unheard and uncared for. I left feeling betrayed by the place I call home and have always trusted and always referred people to for healthcare services and employment. I am a long term Vanderbilt employee and I know Vanderbilt IS the number ONE place for healthcare in the southern region by far!!

Dr barocas was excellent. He explained everything in detail. He answered all questions without rushing us through.

I have recommended this group multiple times!!

Best health care available!

This care has been a challenge from day 1. Limited clinic communication, changes to major surgery, not getting responses, and not receiving what I deemed as satisfactory follow up to my questions. Surgical notes and billing discrepancies to what was performed is concerning as well. The entire experience for what has been a stressful and life changing experience was less than adequate.

Dr. Barocas is an excellent physician and communicator.
