New Onset Seizure Clinic
We know a seizure in a child can be frightening. That's why the the New Onset Seizure Clinic at Monroe Carell rapidly evaluates children who have experienced a seizure or a seizure-like event for the first time.
We usually see patients within one to two weeks of a referral placement. If your child is having multiple events per day or is under one year of age, contact your pediatrician to learn if a same-day appointment or emergency department visit may be needed.
Our New Onset Seizure Clinic is part of the Pediatric Epilepsy Program. Our team of nationally recognized specialists provide consultations, ongoing care and diagnostic services for children and teens.
